Critique of slab serif

Hi!
I am currently sketching a hand-lettering piece with this word, which means Egypt. I was hoping that anyone had some constructive criticism. I am already aware that the joints of the N are too thick. Thanks!

Pay attention to counter space. The G, for example, is too wide.
