If it’s a sans, the Black is more fun. For my newest release, Oculi, the lightest weight was more interesting and fun to draw as I had a lot more space to play with weight modulation and curve tensio…1 -

Black is more fun because it’s where I get to cram in some wild thick/thin stuff and weird terminal angles.3 -

it is more a glare issue than a color issue. Any tone you feel comfortable with is ok as long as you have overcome the halo effect of pure white.3 -

I do plain black on white. With white on black content I get a persistent afterimage, which is distracting and annoying. I'm not sure if that's always been the case, or if it's an effe…5 -

When working on a bookface, I like using a creamy, off-white background, both to cut down glare and to approximate book papers.7 -

I'm not a big dark-mode guy in any case, but I can't fathom drawing glyphs reversed-out! Even drawing Feneon, which I imagine to be used mostly light-on-dark, I had the edit window in black…1 -
