The Wakamai Fondue beta now reports on the format of the outlines, not the a general format of the font:
It will also say "OpenType CFF(2)" when CFF outlines are present.
Wondering if this is useful?

Yes, this is useful Roel.
How are you determining ‘hinted’?

I'm checking for "helper tables" like cvt, cvar, etc. like so:
https://github.com/Wakamai-Fondue/wakamai-fondue-engine/blob/master/src/fondue/Fondue.js#L57
In the future I hope to check for actual hinting data per glyph!
