Reset password on every sign in

On every sign in I'm forced to change my password. 
Can this be fixed?

    Hi Eigi,

    Thanks for letting us know about the issue. I'll reach out to Vanilla Support and see if there's an issue happening on the back end of the server that may be triggering the password resets.

    I seem to be asked for password log-in about once a month, which seems reasonable. If you’re being asked to log-in every time you visit the site, perhaps you have something set to delete all cookies when you close the browser?

    I also get logged out about once a month. Also, the old issue with my doubled account has re-surfaced when I tried to log in from my smartphone, so I don't use it to access the forum. For some reason Vanilla thinks there are two users with the exact same name.
