  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • Well, not $100/hr, but “up to” $100/hr. Which is $4000/wk or ~ $12K/month, without full benefits. This is not insanely good for the SF Bay Area, but is certainly plausible.

Some recruitment texts are written with a touch of human voice, others are the equivalent of a drill sergeant barking them at you. Maybe it is in preparation of what is to come?
  • So here in the midwest, I know plenty of designers who'd donate a kidney to get $4k a week. Seriously, what is the cost of living over there?
  • (Note: I don’t think I invented the “California dollars” idea. I think it was my friend Sean Stewart. As a writer, he often has a way with these “word” things.)
  • More like NorCal dollars.
Although not as affordable as most of the rest of the country, things aren't nearly that bad down here. Well, as long as you have a car.  :-/

We do actually offer extensive benefits after the 1st 4 wks, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, flex, a choice of plans and a really strong health package.

  • All this for a measly $100 per hour. Keep dreaming!
DOE = depending on experience, so let's discuss if you think your experience warrants more than that. The client does have a budget they have set, but for certain types of experience they're willing to be a bit flexible.

    Thanks for the feedback. Noted.
  • With all those skills how hard would it be to offer production and programming support to other foundries at $100 an hour and live somewhere cheap?
