It’s been at least five years since I last looked into English-language resources for Cyrillic and Greek type design. Has anything new come along in that time?
I'm not aware of any similarly helpful resources for Greek. Tatiana's paper and Gerry's site seem mostly statistical and/or historical in nature and contain few concrete recommendations or graphical examples. Even the occasional mention of a typeface as a good or bad example is not very helpful. A graphical demonstration of the most common do's and don'ts of Greek type design, as Leksandra did for Cyrillic, is sorely lacking to my knowledge.
I should like to mention also the Local Fonts site. The site is still in development but I hope it will soon gather a lot of different information about Cyrillic Script at first and then about Greek and other local scripts. Hope so... Good resource place on the site is BULGARIAN CYRILLIC FREE FONTS, where you could find fonts by Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian and other type designers.

The links are almost lost (alas!) - it's not easy to open these places.
