Probably the most basic question ever...

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to draw a normal O in Glyphs Mini.
If I use the primitive tool to draw a circle, then draw another circle inside, it does not 'knock out' the centre.
I've tried the help, google and the Glyphs forum, but can't see how to do this very basic task.
I feel quite silly having to ask, but can anyone help?

The "knock out" happens only when the contours run in opposite directions. Layers > Correct Path Direction would be the easiest way to fix it. You can also reverse contour direction by Control-clicking a selected contour.1
