These days, what apps properly support vertical positioning? For example, if I wanted to raise a hyphen: pos hyphen <0 80 0 0>;
I usually include the following glyphs in the case feature:hyphen, en dash, em dash, exclamdown, questiondown, the four quillemets, parenthesis, brackets, braces, period centered and, of course, the bullet.
Then, in the feature panel, you just need one entry for case:sub @case_default by @case_alts ;
I keep them separate so I can plug and play with different fonts as needed.
Is this correct?
Maybe you have been, but, for instance, if you had looked at Adobe's documentation about OT feature tags (http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/opentype/index_tag3.html) you would know the answer to the case feature question. Just saying.)
