What is the cleanest translation method from FL to Fontographer. The less additional points the better.

Fontographer can read .vfb since 5.0.0
-
I have both in v5 but when I open a FL file in Fontographer it gets squirrel-ly. Additional points are added.
Is there something in the preferences I should change.0 -
I don't know. I don't actually use FOG 5. I keep it around in case I need it.
Maybe ask on the FontLab and/or Fontographer user forums?0 -
I reloaded Fontographer and now it seems to be working fine.
Thanks Mark.0 -
Now how about in reverse?0

FOG 5 can also save .vfb.0
-
I installed Lion and then had to upgrade my FOG. All the fonts on hard drive and backup became FOG fonts including the .otf fonts.
It took 3 days of help without results and then one of the programmers said to hit the file info and up came the name of the font and asked what software you want it to appear. I selected the Font Book and all the problems were solved.0
