    Ofir, I think I own a licence for DTL OT Master. I am now retired, it's not installed on any of my boxes and I'll never use/need it again. I am happy to give it to you. How about that, Frank? Could you please check and let me/us know?

    That's too kind of you @Jan !

    What do you name your fonts with?

    @James That's very nice.
    Does grouping by width work for MS &sons?

    If you group by width, each width becomes a separate font family. They will show up near each other in font menus simply because the names will be listed alphabetically. Within each width family, you still have to follow the same rules described above with regard to MS Office, etc.

    I see. So ID1,2 will still restrict and force family splits for MS aps?

    Basically that’s fine with me. If you purchased the license from FontLab Ltd. you’ll probably have to alter the registration there one way or another, I reckon. If there are any problems, please let me know.

    Heh, FontLab then checked with DTL. But we were cool with it, and they were as well, so it's all good. :)

    Regarding mapping weights, I like to keep everything 300 and up at its original value. So I would do:

    100 > 250
    200 > 275

    ... and the remainder at their regular values.

    After actively stimulating the circulation of existing OTM licenses, the Dutch Type Library moved to adapted premises.

    Thanks, Frank, for this kind deed. Ofir has his DTL OT Master now and can rename his fonts at will!
