We’re delighted to welcome Emigre to The Type Founders!
Founded by Zuzana Licko and Rudy VanderLans in 1984, Emigre changed how designers thought about making and using type, from a magazine set in Zuzana’s pixel-drawn fonts to typefaces like Lo-Res and Mrs Eaves.
More than 40 years later, joining TTF gives Zuzana and Rudy more time to create, both at Emigre Fonts, where they’ll stay actively involved, and at Emigre Studio, home to Rudy’s photo books and prints and Zuzana’s ceramics and textiles.
