We've built easy font license compliance in FontBase
For quite some time, we had requests about the ability to control the number of activations a font can have inside a team. Basically, most of the time, when you purchase a font it has a limited amount of seats it can be used at the same time. And so far there was almost no way to manage that. Only one font manager on the market could do that, but it required a complex setup and high cost.
So we have built Licensing in FontBase: https://fontba.se/features/licensing
Now you can create a license for any font you own, set the maximum allowed number of seats and an expiration date. Then you can monitor how many activations a font has inside your team. And when the maximum number of activations is reached, the font can not be activated anymore, unless someone deactivates it first.
TL;DR: Font foundries are happy.
I'll be happy to answer any questions about FontBase or Licensing.
