Is it possible to use Bitmap color fonts in browsers? Vector fonts display in color as COLR export, so I thought, is there a way to see colors from a bitmap?
Thanks in advance!

It depends on the browser.
There are two colour bitmap formats defined in the OpenType specification: Apple’s SBIX format and Google’s EBDT (CBDT/CBLC) format.
You can use ChromaCheck to test what colour font formats are supported in individual browsers. Most support some mix of the various formats; some might only support one or other of the bitmap formats. I think it is still the case that Firefox doesn’t support either of the bitmap formats.2
