Devanagari Fonts for Learning Reference
I’m currently learning how to design Devanagari fonts. Specifically, I’m interested in fonts that are known for their design excellence, especially in modern styles. Are there any high-quality Devanagari fonts that I can study as references to understand the nuances of the script better, and where can I access them?
If anyone has suggestions or can point me to resources where I can find good examples, I’d be really grateful!

You might want to investigate Tiro Typeworks’ Indigo project: https://github.com/TiroTypeworks/IndigoThis provides not only the fonts but also the sources for a whole series of open-source Indic fonts, including different language-nuanced versions of Devanagari.Even if the technical data is beyond you at this point, the fonts themselves are of highest quality and an excellent reference.(The fonts are also available via GoogleFonts, of course. Just search for “Tiro”.)

You can learn a lot from looking at the fonts available on Google fonts.
