Hold down Shift-Option (Mac) or Shift-Alt (Windows) while dragging the node, and it constrains the node to move along the curve, while adjusting the off-curve points to maintain the curve shape as much as possible, and keeping a smooth connection at that point, if that is what you had set.

Is that what you were looking for?
  • You can also try just Alt to move the node while preserving handles.

how do you get tunni lines to show up? I hit L and the blue square doesnt popup up
  • The Tunni lines appear only when you position the cursor over them. The means you will move the cursor around where you imagine it is until you see it. This is to prevent visual pollution in Glyph Window.

    1. As Igor says, you need to first ensure that Tunni lines are turned on in the View menu, and then you need to position your cursor roughly where the line will be to make it appear, i.e. between two control handles on a curve.

    2. If you want all the Tunni lines to display, activate the Edit Tunni Lines option in the Contour menu.

@John Hudsonthat did it. Thank.  it's visible except its trying to edit every contour. it's like you cant explicitly adjust just for one contour.

To edit just one curve, use the first option. Turn Tunni Lines on in the View member, then move your mouse pointer and hover where the line you want to edit will be, it should appear, and then be selectable.
