What are the system requirements for Macs? I cannot find that information on your web site.

Congratulations on this new venture. And thanks for bringing another font editor to Mac. It’s hard to believe the amount of competition in the market today.

On RAM: not a surprise, but nice nonetheless!
(Font editors do not tend to need a ton of memory compared to some other categories of apps. Recent advances in font tech such as variable fonts mean more RAM can be helpful, but font editor RAM needs have not advanced at the rate that RAM has.)1 -
FontCreator is a well-regarded font development tool, though I personally don't use it for creating fonts. Having worked with FontLab for about 25 years, I find it challenging to switch to a new platform because I'm too darn old. However, from what I've observed, FontCreator is a kick-ass application with an extensive user base and loads of tutorials available.Despite not using it as my primary font creation tool, I often use FontCreator for its excellent font proofing capabilities. Before running a comprehensive test in Fontbakery, I perform a quick check using FontCreator. The process is simple: I drag and drop the fonts into the application, click the test button, and it generates text files detailing any errors found. It's especially good for finding those hard-to-spot overlaps and twists.Additionally, I find FontCreator useful for quick font format conversions. Even if it doesn't become your main font development environment, it's a valuable tool to have in your arsenal for these supplementary tasks.
Oh, and the programming tools are really user-friendly.11
