How to create shx single line font?

I go through many forums and Google searches, but due to a lack of knowledge, I want to know what program or process is involved to make .shx font file. I would be glad to know about it. Many Thanks!

There is a Glyphs plugin that can be used to export SHP files that can then be converted to SHX fonts. I have not tested it, but you can probably get more answers in the Glyphs forum.
