Here's an interesting article from It'sNiceThat about the crossroads of variable fonts and interactive illustrations. You can play around with the font yourself on Rob & Robin’s website! It's marvelous seeing how VF technology is flexible enough to be applied in unique ways—such as Input Cipher from DJR or Kablammo from Vectro Type Foundry. I wonder where variable technology will be in ten years?
