The recent changes in Monotype's model present several intriguing aspects that I'm keen to explore. However, given the stipulations of the new agreement, I'd be in direct violation upon signing it. I believe that several established foundries, including mine, may face challenges with this model. Over the decades, I've engaged in multiple subscription services and exclusive contracts, making it challenging to align with the new agreement's terms. While it's evident that considerable effort and planning have gone into the creation of this new system, it regrettably positions me outside of its purview.7
