Fontmake 3.4.0 error message

Upgraded from Fontmake 3.3.0 to 3.4.0, now I get this error message:

ValueError: Alternate rules on non-first axis not yet supported

Can’t remember if I ever received this message before!?

This error message originates from glyphsLib and was added as part of this release with more info and discussion. It is as it says: "Alternate rules on non-first axis not yet supported", meaning some part in the fontmake tool chain has no support for this particular way of defining alternates in GlyphsApp.

I remember now having trouble with Glyphs3-alternates and fontmake. Thank you for making things clear, again. 🙂
