Besides known conferences such as ATypI or Granshan, are there any other options where the result of academic work is good to submit for publishing?

In some cases you could also consider scientific (peer-reviewed) publication, such as this: https://www.jbe-platform.com/content/journals/10.1075/idj.23.1.09che1

Here is a useful link:
http://www.alphabettes.org/academic-publishing-on-typography/(some of the links are broken, but you can google by the name of the resource)
It turns out there are actually many design related journals but not so many journals focused mainly on type design and lettering.
So the choice will depend on the topic of your work.

There is also the International Conference on Typography & Visual Communication, in Greece, which publishes a volume of the papers accepted. It is only once every three years, though.
This year: https://ictvc.org/2022/en/ early July in Thessaloniki
deadline is Feb 26, 2022.1 -
Some of the writing on Typographica is academic or scholarly in nature.1
