MS Word 2013 to drop Type1 & CFF support

This was posted 10 months ago, but I missed it until today, when the first customer complained that our fonts can not be installed in the latest MS Word. :-(

Relief, the Microsoft announcement is wrong, I just installed Office 2013, CFF works fine :-)2

Is Microsoft perhaps referring to "bare" CFF data as specified in Adobe Technical Note #5176 (http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/font/pdfs/5176.CFF.pdf), rather than CFF (PostScript) format OpenType fonts?0

There was a known problem with CFF fonts in MS Word 2010 when making a PDF. Read what Si_Daniels says in the middle here:
