Hello everyone, I'm a longtime lurker on TypeDrawers and thought it was about time I got stuck in. I'm a book historian from the UK, currently based in Geneva. I specialize in the typography of the 16th century, especially how it relates to English literature, and have just finished a PhD thesis on English's transition from a blackletter to a roman language (yes, amazingly there were still many unanswered questions on this topic). I'm now preparing it for publication as a book. I keep an eye on the 21st century too, and occasionally find time for a bit of amateurish type design. Thanks for having me!
