Question about Panckoucke

Hi ! A friend has shown me last week a small book titled "Le génie de Monsieur de Buffon", first edition, printed by Panckoucke in Paris, 1778. She has it from her father and She has thought it could be interesting for me.
Does anyone have an idea of the punchcutter of this font ?
I find the overall effect fairly nice (it's printed in about 10 pts I think) and inking is very good despite a somewhat rough paper. Thus the details of the characters are very well rendered. Some of them are idiosyncrasic, like /g which has a very particular ear. Serifs are fairly long and nearly rectangular, the x height is well defined.
