    BTW, looking at this old thread, I see I was pretty stubborn about my /El-cy back then. I have meanwhile adopted a more conventional /El-cy as part of my Cyrillic review with Alexei Vanyashin. I like it less than my old designs, but I realize this is not about me. ;)
