Colored icon fonts?

I need a tool to create a multicolor symbol(Icon) font out of many SVG files. actually need something like icomoon.io but unfortunately, there is no way to export the font in OTF Colored format in iconmoon (like these). SVG fonts are not usable in adobe applications like Indesign (just OpenType-SVG format).
In fact, softwares like FontLab can do this, but they are too much! juggling with kerning and etc. is too frustrating to build a symbol font out of many (more than 100) SVG files (or maybe there is a simple way which I don't know ).

Type 3.2 font editor can do this.

You can import .svg graphics for each glyph (can be automated with a script), and would be able to export as an OpenType SVG Colour font as you require, and also in Apple SBIX Colour font format.

Yes, most apps that can do what you want, also have other features you do not need. Certainly among the font editors most of us here are familiar with.
That said, it is not as if you are forced to “juggle with kerning” unless you want to, in any font editor.
FontLab, Glyphs, and Type all generate OT-SVG fonts. RoboFont does too, if you add the RoboChrome extension. I am not convinced any of the alternatives are easier than FontLab in terms of how one works with getting color glyphs into the app from .svg, although I haven’t seen how Type does it.

If you just want to convert a bunch of SVG images to a color font, without needing to do work in a font editor, there are some command line tools that'll do just that for you:
https://github.com/adobe-type-tools/opentype-svg (this has a GUI version from Microsoft, but I haven't used it myself: https://github.com/microsoft/OpenType-SVG-Font-Editor)

Hope this helps!3 -
You can do that in Glyphs, too: https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/creating-an-svg-color-font1

And in FontLab 7: https://youtu.be/pk63o4Pqnf01
