I am not affiliated with Monotype. I just thought some people here would like to know about this opportunity.

Monotype needs a German/English speaking Font Engineer in Bad Hamburg or Berlin.

    In order to prevent nasty surprises, please note that Bad Homburg is not quite the same as Hamburg.

    Too bad it's not in Vienna, so they'll have to do without me.

    I have never been to Bad Homburg, but perhaps ‘Bad Hamburg’ is a good English description, who knows. Reminds me of the vans you see in Vienna that have ‘Bad Design’ written on them. Every time I see them, I think to myself, well, they're right actually.

    I've been to Bad Homburg a few times, and have to say that I quite like the town. It is quiet, a bit sleepy, and old fashioned, but pleasant and centred on a large park. Surprisingly good restaurants, including some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere.
