Custom fonts in Microsoft Teams

As I am not a Microsoft customer and it is hard to get technical support that way, I will try here and see if I can get some answers from any of you. Thanks in advance.
How do fonts work in Microsoft Teams? Is this a web-based app? It is possible to use local fonts in the app? I know it’s possible to preview Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents in the app, but it seems the preview does not include embedded or local fonts.

    I got the reply in a Microsoft forum, in case someone is curious about it. As I guessed Microsoft Team does not support third-party fonts.
