Fonts named "BoldItalic" not displaying in Windows 7

I am receiving from Paratype reports of Windows 7 not properly displaying fonts named "BoldItalic" (instead of "Bold Italic") in the Full Name field.
I wasn't aware if this problems and I could not find a mention to it in Typophile or TypeDrawers.
Were you guys aware of it?

    I should also add that the problem was spotted in a style linked kind of font naming scheme.
