An announcement for all you graduate and undergraduate students out there interested in typeface design. Start planning now for next year’s Updike Prize for Student Type Design. You don't have to be a RISD student to enter. Maybe you're a MassArt student taking the train down to Providence (it's less than an hour from South Station). Or maybe you're from anywhere in the world, visiting your friend at Brown. The Updike Collection is excellent and anyone, student or no, should check it out.
