Hi,
I was wondering if there are any books on how to draw serif typefaces that are based on the translation method? If not, then just any books that have a large section on the sketching process of drawing a typeface?

Is there a book with substantial content about drawing italics ? I would learn more because I am not very good at drawing them.

@Ramiro Espinoza Thanks a lot ! Seemingly Arrighi's originals are less angular than Cancellarescas revivals or Chancery. That's what I need as an italic companion to my Uccello. Thanks again.

I picked up this very attractive book on italic and related cursive script styles at TYPO Berlin a couple of years ago. It seems good, in so far as I can tell from the illustrations, but I don't read German.1
