know-how on proper Font Style view

Hello everybody,
I desperately seek for information why my edited font displays inproper in Illustrator Mac/Win and Ms Office.
Font family of eight styles where edited with Fontographer5. After naming proper-same name and giving different weights, i get messed order in Illustator CC Mac. Same font family in Win Pc shows only 7 of them and Regular* is Italic there.
I have no idea how to make them look properly sequenced (Light, Light italic, Regular, italic etc.) and to distribute properly on all platforms and all software.

Maybe other software than Fontographer is needed to make work?

Never dealed with such problem before. I believe there is some deeper know-how to make font work correctly.

The trick to make this work is fairly straightforward; however you need to be consistent.
This is how it will work in FontCreator, but most other font editors use the same settings/fields:
