I Announced my First Variable Font Today

Hey.
I've been dabbling in Type Design for a while, but I've never posted anything here before, so excuse me if this isn't in the spirit of the community.
Today I announced my new font, Umbra*, which uses the Open Type Variable Font technology in a new way and I wanted to hear the responses. In a lot of ways it's a proof of concept, so things like the lack of weights or styles is to be expected.
Let me know what you think

Excellent idea, but I can't help noticing that that name is already taken for a venerable font...4

Fun, and nice work!
Yet.... Not only is the name already taken for over 80 years, but it is a registered trademark. You really need to change it!

"Gnomon", as it is called now, is **exactly** the right name!3
