Why some color fonts turns black in huge sizes on Adobe products?

I saw that some color fonts including this one of mine turns black when you transform the layer in Adobe PS for example. Of course I mean for texts larger than 1296 pt which Adobe doesn't support ordinary.
But at the same time, some other color fonts exactly created with the same app does not have that problem. The number of paths are the issue?
Is there any way to make a glyph of a color font bigger without losing the colors?
