    I’m curious, in what sense do you consider RoboFont a specialist tool?

    The way I see it, RoboFont is a font editor framework which can (and must) be tailored to your needs. It is more of a general tool in my opinion.

    A tool that needs tailoring to be useful is a specialist tool, as you need to know what you need and how to get there efficiently.
