Oldstyle tabular figures

As primarily a graphic designer I find these 'archaic old-style figures' that Commercial Type have done for Le Jeune intriguing at the least and possibly very useful in certain instances where you want a little more emphasis on something in running text or sub heads i.e. '34, 1956, etc...As Craig pointed out though, the 3 and 5 are slightly curled up and are sitting rather than hanging. Not sure of their usability in a tabular form though?1
