The Rules have been updated

Recently, the moderation team decided The Rules required some clarification. Please take a moment to check them out. Then we hope you continue to enjoy discussing type and its many charms.

It would be more responsible to publish previous and current versions, i.e., run a diff on the file. Essentially, Typedrawers admins, who have proven themselves unresponsive in my direct experience, have emulated the worst practices of, say, credit-card companies or banks and have simply changed the rules without telling us what changed.

One glaring deficiency is Stewf’s face glaring glaringly at us. He doesn’t even run the joint anymore.

What changed is we added point #6 in light of some material which we consider still copyrighted being shared here.

And the rules post was created by Stephen at the time when he was "run[ning] the joint" so his image remains.

So you’re directly unresponsive to a complaint about his baleful visage. I don’t see why emeritus status even exists.
