Software to simulate rasterization of Java programs (like intellij IDEA)?

The rasterizer in Java is extremely strange. For a hinted TTF displayed well under Windows GDI and Mac, Java will ruin everything, even remove some strokes.
So are there any software can simulate this thing?

"Use the source, Luke!", as Yoda might say... Which Java runtime and which platform? The sun runtime is largely open-source, although you need to get OpenJDK for a fully open one. AFAIK.
