Hope this is in the right category
I was wondering what examples there are at attempts of blending antiqua with blackletter.
I started working on a sans textface with a hint of blackletter, and am curious for some other references.
does anyone know some examples?
Thanks in advance…

This book shows examples of a broad range: http://www.amazon.com/Fraktur-Mon-Amour-Judith-Schalansky/product-reviews/156898801X/ref=pd_sim_14_cr_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=06YE50QJ9FH2ANG0W7PB0

I suppose my Octant and Traction could qualify.

Some time ago I put together a list of “modern” blackletter typefaces. You can find it here.1

thanks alot guys. alot of the examples are quiet old timy still,
and not precisely what i was hoping for. (sans)
i came across rostrot by georg seifert,
which is closer to the ideas that im wondering about.
benedikt, thanks for that list, ill dig through it later.0 -
You might use the term "Roman" rather than "Antiqua" as that will be understood by folks outside the German-speaking regions.0

good point, will keep that in mind…0

Not a sans serif, but GT Sectra contains hints of blackletter calligraphy, in a subtle and I think very successful way. But obviously I’m biased.
See http://ilovetypography.com/2015/01/13/making-fonts-gt-sectra/ for the longer story of GT Sectra’s development.2 -
thanks thierry, will give it a read0

@ybaggar Where is Bois now!?

@Stephen Coles I occasionaly sell licenses per requests, but I consider it an educational project and an attempt only.
I think Sectra is a more contemporary (and therefore successful, I agree with Thierry) attempt. If I was to release Bois one day, I would have to find something that makes it more interesting for today too.
I still like the serifs very much though.
