How to make FontLab recognise a newer Python version on Windows?

Hi,
Some time ago I installed Python 2.4 on my Windows XP installation which worked fine with FontLab. However in order to make some new scripts work I needed to update to Python 2.7. So now I have two directories with the different Python installations, but I can't figure out how to make FontLab recognise the newer Python version.
Any ideas?

FontLab Studio 5.2.2 wants and likes Python 2.7 (at least up to 2.7.10); I suggest upgrading to 5.2.2.
Note that it has some new/different bugs, but in general, it fixes tons of bugs and is a "better" app.0
