Should be “Monoline”—with optical adjustments, of course. Monowidth means fixed width, as per typewriter.3 -

I’ve used both. Helvetica is more useful, having the greater available range of styles. But by the same token, it’s easier to go wrong with Helvetica.2 -

The purpose of the “traps” is arguably not for ink. Bear in mind that trapping is the process by which areas of ink that abut in a layout are minutely oversized, in order for them to overlap in print…5 -
