Are you sure about this? I licensed fonts from both libraries back in the nineties. In comparing Bitstream vs Linotype digitizations of the same faces, the data does not match, not even the metrics. …7 -

I suppose it's possible, but it seems unlikely that a computer would have been used to aid the design of some lettering on an album cover in 1973. A human following an algorithm more likely.5 -

Seems like it was probably drawn from scratch with a heavy toke. (Incidentally, Switched on Bach was performed, not programmed. No computers or sequencers involved.)3
