IBM Plex Variable in indesign: when dragging slider font is swapping style #337

I've been testing some stuff with IBM plex Variable in InDesign, and I realised that when I select any italic style and starting to drag the weight axis slider, it swaps back to the roman style, at given slider's axis value.

I had no such issue with adobe variable fonts.

Thanks for the report, Rafal!

The current version of IBM Plex Sans Var was released before InDesign first implemented Variable Fonts support.
We are aware of some bugs in the STAT table, and we know we need to add some Adobe specific entries to the name table. This is on our list for the next Plex Sans Var update.
