Feedback for my first variable typeface

Hello everyone, this is my first post and also my first variable typeface project.

The design was born from a client's branding project that I later developed into a custom typeface.

The client is a well-established running brand and retailer in Rome, Italy, and the identity/typeface suggests the intersection of individual paths, hence the "softness" of the curves.

The family is designed to cover multiple weights, from ExtraLight to Black.

I'd love to hear your technical feedback, as I'm self-taught in the world of variable typeface design and this is my first real approach to type design.

Any thoughts are welcome, thank you!

To be straightforward, this seems like an existing font that has been screwed with, rather than an original typeface design, and the alterations intended to make it different seem inconsistently applied and problematic in terms of creating spottiness and making "ductus sense."
It might feel advantageous for a beginner to get a "head start" by starting with another font, but often the effect is that every intervention made jumps out as a defect.
Are there two masters here? For this broad of a range of weights, I'd recommend three. If you look at your string of RRRRRRR, for the heaviest couple of weights that middle horizontal should probably be slightly thinned and lowered to look less clunky, but you don't want those alterations to affect the lighter range of weights, so a middle master can control that.
