Halfwidth and Fullwidth Forms

Does it make sense to add elements from the "Half-Width and Full-Width Shapes" block (FF00-FFEF) to a font that doesn't contain Asian characters (Chinese, Japanese, or Korean)? When might these characters be useful?

    Answer ✓
    Those characters are specific to East Asian typography, so without CJK support they’re not useful. The ‘width’ referred to is CJK character width.
