Fonts & AI conference: program is announced + registration is open

Dear all,

We are excited to share that the program of our Fonts & AI online conference is now ready for you to check out! This is the first fully dedicated conference to the topic of fonts and artificial intelligence.

We will spend 2 days looking at how AI can impact the world of type, from theory to AI models to practical implementations. We will hear about community concerns, discuss the legality and ethics of AI training models, and examine the threats and opportunities that AI represents.

The conference is fully online and talk recordings will be immediately posted up for participants to catch up if they miss any. Recordings will remain accessible for at least a week after the event.

Hope to see you there!

ps. If you're an AI sceptic, you are more than welcome! This isn't a hype event. We hope to address the serious questions of how AI will change the world of fonts, in all the pros and cons of it.

  • Sounds great, but unfortunately I won't be available on those two days. Will registering give you access to the replay of the talks?

My understanding is that, yes, registering for the conference will enable you to watch the videos of the talks and panels, but only for a limited time (two weeks?) after the conference.

Yes all sessions will be uploaded immediately as soon as they are done so you can catch up later, as long as you are registered for the event. We will leave them up at least a week after the event but will try to extend that if possible.
