Images out of whack on Chrome

What is happening to images on Chrome? They are all distorted, but look OK on Safari:
Chrome left, Safari right.

Happy almost weekend.
The issue seems to go beyond just Chrome. The images look the same for me on Microsoft Edge and Opera GX (on Windows 10).
