Can you help identify this typeface?

Hello,

After looking through my (admittedly limited) type specimen books, and trying What the Font and Identifont to no avail, I’ve decided I can beg the experts for help.

Attached is a spread from a 1935 edition of Childcraft. I’ve identified the headings (Kabel Medium), but can’t figure out what the entries are set with. This spread contains every letter but Q, j, and z.
