So far we're not seeing an impact.  Q1 sales are up over most of our Q1s since 2015.  March/April are fine.  A little slow last week and this week but that's probably easter.

Hard to say. These days I’m inclined to try and relate sales to how much and what I’ve been posting in social media, rather than macro-economic events.
  • Rising prices for physical goods may also push people to reconsider their priorities for digital purchases, according to Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
  • @JoyceKetterer  Our Q1 sales were all quite normal, but fell off a cliff mid-March

@James Montalbano That really sucks and I hope the ship rights itself soon.  Our Q1 2024 was off a cliff.  I think a lot of companies were slow to release their marketing budgets because they were waiting for economic forcasts.  Eventually they do have to go back to business.  In the past our business has been resession proof (2008).  Our theory at the time was that companies consolidate in a downturn and then rebrand.

@Michael Rafailyk yes, but fonts aren't a consumer product.

To whoever disagreed with my last post, I mean that fonts are mostly licensed by business.  I wouldn't think this is a controversial opinion.  For business, maintaining their brand is a first order need. That said, in 2008 Google fonts were not a going concern.

I find the "Maniac" qualifier a bit soft. :)

Sales for me have been just a bit up from normal, with is normal. but my foundry is also relatively new. Only like 4 years old so I think I am still at the point where I am growing just because I am new and word of mouth hasn't yet reached its natural capacity for me.
