Drawing greek letters

I just went and read the first page of it. I remember, in my search for information on the Greek typewriter, finding a page that advocated the use of polytonic script for writing Modern Greek, probably https://www.polytoniko.org/; but from here I see that this would not even have been phonetic in late Classical times.

Of course, that site admits polytonic script is not a phonetic representation of Modern Greek, but defends it as useful because it conveys useful information about "morphology and syntax", as well as being useful for recognizing words.
